As a kid on the school bus, I had to pass a golf course. It made me alternately nuts and dreamy:
1. What a waste of open land in the city. You could keep horses (goats, donkeys, ponies, cows, sheep….) there! Then people (me) could have a chance to be around animals (horses).
2. IMAGINE RIDING ON ALL THAT SOFLY UNDULATING GRASS. The daydream could last all the way through social studies.
