Welcome to the May 2014 Blog Carnival of Horses! I hope you enjoy this edition; there are lots of interesting posts.
I ended this edition with a post about the Kentucky Derby which echoes my own sentiments about the big race — and really racing in general. I’ve actually come to the point where I watch the races after they’ve been run, on YouTube or another video replay. I just don’t want to see any more bad things happen. But I still love the thoroughbreds and take pleasure in watching them run.

Thanks to all who contributed to this month’s Carnival. The new form I built worked well and I’m going to use it going forward. I suspect the Blog Carnival platform is gone for good.
So please submit your posts here going forward.
