She must have been deep into the brambles at the far end of her pasture. I had to take it out in sections because it was so embedded in her tail. She has an amazingly thick tail! Once I had her on cross ties she stood patiently for it.
Yes, Freedom would have been frantic. I could imagine finding him in a puddle of exhaustion but still running. I’ve had Zelda snag a branch with her tail out riding. Same deal. I didn’t realize it had happened until we got home!
