Dressage Anywhere is running online hobby horse classes, with 80% of the entry fee going to NHS Charities Together’s Covid-19 fund. The competition runs from April 16-April 30.

Dressage Anywhere is running Novice, Grand Prix, Pony Club and RDA tests which may be ridden in any size arena and on any surface.  £8 of the £10 entry fee goes to the NHS Charities Urgent Appeal, raising funds for staff and volunteers supporting COVID-19 patients. Horses may be purchased especially or produced at home and there will be a prize draw which all entries are automatically entered into.

How to Enter

Dressage Anywhere has been running online dressage competition and training classes since 2010 and has judged over 10,000 dressage tests online to date, with 11,000 members from more than 70 countries. Dressage tests are judged online by a BD List 1, 2 or specialist judge and riders can download their scoresheet as soon as their test has been judged. Including Hobby Horse Dressage competitions is their answer to the current environment.

  1. Oh, this is great! I remember years ago, seeing a Pony Club Hobby Horse show jumping event. The jumps were straw bales and cavalletis, the riders little kids, their horses a stick horse. It was hilarious. One girl had the brilliancy to actually REFUSE a jump, circle around and whack herself on the butt to jump the obstacle. LAUGH? It was wonderful.
