Today was the second day of Olympic dressage competition in Tokyo with teams gearing up for the Dressage Team Grand Prix Special on Tuesday and the Individual Grand Prix Freestyle on Wednesday.
Isabell Werth and Bella Rose finished at the top today with a score of 82.5%. Behind her, in second place was Britain’s Charlotte Dujardin, who earned a grand prix personal best on her relatively inexperienced mount Gio (known as Pumpkin) of 80.93%
Here are a few of the top rides — as more rides are posted I will try to add them in. For those of us who don’t have cable, YouTube is the only way of watching the Olympics right now.
Denmark, USA, The Netherlands, Sweden, Portugal and Spain will compete for the team medals in Tuesday’s Grand Prix Special in which all teams start again with a clean sheet.

How can I watch this on Direct TV!? I’ve looked and so far not showing any equine events
I’m not seeing a lot of equestrian events broadcast at all. Peacock TV showed a few minutes of the dressage but not enough. I’ve been looking on YouTube and TikTok for people who are watching in other countries with more comprehensive broadcasting.
