The Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks always brings out the most fantastic hats. Some of them are gorgeous . . . others strive to be completely over the top. Certainly they are part of the traditional pageantry of Derby Day. Whether you are female or male, no outfit is complete without a Derby hat.

Hats are by no means limited to women. Some of the men’s heats are among the most outlandish. This man has interpreted the Run for the Roses in his own way.
