Swiss Skydiver, winner of last year’s Preakness, showed she’s back in form, easily pulling away from the field in the Beholder Mile to win by 2 3/4 lengths. It was her first start since the Breeders’ Cup Distaff, where she stumbled hard at the start, cut her leg and finished 7th. Although the mile isn’t her best distance, the 4-year old filly looked strong and excited to run.

“When I finally gave her some room there she took off. It was all her, I was just a passenger. I look forward for the rest of the year with her.”

With the Beholder winner’s share of $180,000, Swiss Skydiver increased her earnings to $2,025,480.
