Season 5 of Foal Patrol is Underway

Foal Patrol

Foal Patrol, a initiative of the National Museum of Racing & Hall of Fame, was launched in 2017 to provide a behind-the-scenes look at thoroughbred mares in foal. The program was conceptualized by John Hendrickson, the Museum’s president and his late wife, renowned philanthropist and Thoroughbred owner, Marylou Whitney. This year, Foal Patrol has partnered with the Paulick Report to bring you closer to featured mares and foals and to ask farm staff questions about their care and management during the season.

The live web cameras follow five mares from the end of their pregnancy through the birth of their foals and then let us watch the foals as they grow. Prior seasons attracted more than 35 million combined views! This year’s line up includes;
