A year of blogging at Equine Ink

This year WordPress gives you an automatic tally of your blog stats for the year. Thanks again to each and every reader for visiting Equine Ink and for making this blog part of your day. I am always amazed to see where my readers come from and am cheered to see some of the same visitors coming back to read again.

Just a few years ago I wouldn’t have thought it possible to make blogging friendships but that is certainly what has happened. And as a result I look forward to reading other people’s blogs to find out how their life is going.

I also couldn’t imagine that I’d still be writing Equine Ink because I couldn’t imagine that I’d still find topics that I want to write about.

Writing about horses is, however, like riding them. I never seem to tire of the activity. While my non-horsey friends and family wonder that I can go to the barn with the same enthusiasm day in and day out (okay, almost every day), those who have the equine addiction can understand it all too clearly.

So here’s to another year of riding and blogging. Hope to see you here!

The stats helper monkeys at WordPress.com mulled over how this blog did in 2010, and here’s a high level summary of its overall blog health:
