Eventing Nation reports that Peter Atkins has been able to buy Linda Martin’s share of HJ Hampton before the court appointed auction could take place.

You can almost hear the  collective big sigh of relief from all the “Henny” supporters out there who have been hoping that he would be able to stay with Peter and his best friend, Peter’s son Owen.

Although the details of the purchase agreement will remain confidential, it appears that plans are underway to syndicate the gelding and that several supporters stepped in to help with the purchase.

Henny is currently recovering from colic surgery but has been started back in light work.
