The past week has been a tough one. My father was hospitalized and I spent several days in New York with him. This afternoon was too good to miss and I really needed a ride. It was a wonderful antidote to the hours spent on the NYC subway system — so clean and fresh! I had trouble getting Freedom to stand still, but managed to capture a bit of the glorious late afternoon sun that heralds the end of summer.
