Burghley cross country takes place tomorrow, with Sir Mark Todd in the lead after the second day of dressage on Kilturbrid Rhapsody. Tim Price is second on Ringwood Sky Boy and Oliver Townend remains in third.
Providing a special preview of the cross country course, four Nepalese Ghurkhas have tackled the 31-obstacle course on foot. Famed for their toughness in battle, their willingness to attack the Burghley jumps marks the fact that the Gurkha Wellfare Trust is the official charity at this year’s event. Watch as the soldiers clear (or crawl under) some of the toughest jumps out there.
