Finally, a New Year’s resolution that I can embrace. I plan to spend more time with my horses and if I can’t ride (I’m very careful about winter footing now), I think we’ll go on walks together. I’ve just spent two weeks in “boot camp” with my daughter who pushed me to make my 10,000 steps a day. The question is, can I do it on my own? Usually Zelda helps me with my steps :).
What are your resolutions?
My resolutions are:
Ride my horse a minimum of 1 day a week. (or work her)
compete 1x this year (event)
Eat better, I’ve done low carb and know how to do it, so return to that.
And I intend to do more hunting. I only got out once in the fall, mostly due to family conflicts but still . . .
I have two resolutions: be kinder to myself and others and be more patient with my puppy, she’s doing her best (and so am I).
Happy new year 2020 to you!
Kindness and patience. Both goals I should take to heart as well!
My resolution is to try and lessen my reactions to stressors that I really have no control over. IF I were a horse, I’d be called high strung, and as I age, it seems, it’s taken a toll.
What a GREAT post!
