Here’s a fun contest. Old Friends, the thoroughbred retirement organization, is asking for help naming a filly.
High Heels ’19 is a 3-year-old filly by Mineshaft out of the mare High Heels. She is a registered Thoroughbred, unraced due to injury, and so is without a proper name. Before she has a total identity crisis, we’re asking your help to secure this pretty girl the perfect moniker.

From the submissions, a panel of Old Friends judges will chose five finalists, verify the names are available via the Jockey Club, and put those to a final vote.
The winning name will be filed with the Jockey Club!
The person submitting the winning name will win a prize. Choose from a Tour Gift Certificate for four ($100 value) or a copy of our coffee table book, The Art of Old Friends ($50. value)
