A Woman’s Best Friend

My daughter wrote this poem for my blog. At nearly 10 she hasn’t yet been bitten by the horse bug, but I think it’s inevitable.

A Woman’s Best Friend

A soft fuzzy nose
Big brown eyes
That capture life and all its lies
A slick furry body moving under you
A horse doesn’t care what you wear or what you do
All that matters to them is what you are in your heart
And if you show it and play your part.
