My first horse, Bogie, loved cats. At one of the barns where we boarded, there was a barn cat that reciprocated his affection. The cat was almost always in his stall and seemed to enjoy being nuzzled. I’m always amazed that an animal so small can be so fearless around a friend that could crush them with one bad step.
