There are several horse blogs that I read on a regular basis. And regularly I find that one of them has already covered a topic that I wish I’d written about.
Here’s a round up of a few posts that I’ve read lately that I really liked.
Building on a Balk at Barb Wire.
Will you see your horse being shod in your church window? at Fran Jurga’s Hoof Blog.
The Mindlessness of Equestrian Vanity at Enlightened Horsemanship Through Touch
Old Polish Stirrups at Dariusz Caballeros
One Tempis as a 6-year old bareback at The Literary Horse
Tracing a Thoroughbred’s Past at Behind the Bit
A couple of these topics I had already put in my article “queue” but you have to be on your toes to be the first to publish around here!
Oh, my. Thanks, Liz. And, you’ve pointed me in the direction of some new blogs. 🙂 Much appreciated!
Hey,
Thanks Liz. I really appreciate the praise. Coming from you, that is something indeed.

Hi Liz–Ditto for what Tamara said!
The interesting articles/visuals in the horse world are no long found in the newsstand periodicals but on these blogs. What a transition!
We’re onto something here!
All the best,
Fran Jurga

Clearly you are on MY must read list! Thanks Liz. My post is negligible (it’s the video in it that is so cool) but I SO enjoyed the articles you put up, what a wonderful idea. Totally fell for the Polish stirrups, gilt queen that I am, and I don’t know how I ever missed Barb Wire, it’s up on my blog now! Great posts.
I must say you make it terribly hard not to comment stalk your blog with all the wonderful stuff you write. 😉
