Edgar Prado helps jockey mid-race

Outside of the movies it’s hard to imagine this kind of move. Jockey Edgar Prado notices that the jockey riding next to him has lost his reins. Despite galloping at 30+ mph, Prado leans over and, using his whip, pushes the reins back so the jockey can grab them — very likely preventing an accident (hard to imagine riding at those speeds with no reins and horses coming up behind you!). What an excellent and altruistic gesture to make at the height of a race.
