I may be the last equestrian enthusiast around to have seen this video of Stephen Colbert’s commentary on dressage, but just in case you, like me, have been living under a rock, you must watch the clip. It is that funny. Not since Monty Python did their skit on men doing dressage has the sport been in the public eye in quite this way! Will dressage get a boost for the Olympics? Or is it one more way that tags Romney as an elitist (and for all the talk about 6 figure horses and $1,000 saddles, for an Olympic caliber horse, that sounds like short money).
