Every baby needs a cuddle! The Mare and Foal Sanctuary in southwest England appealed to nearby residents for donations of extra-large stuffed animals to help an orphaned foal named Breeze get through a rough patch. Looks like it’s working. Breeze was abandoned by his mother in Dartmoor National Park days after his birth. A farmer found him and alerted sanctuary workers. Breeze was severely dehydrated but has improved considerably thanks to the care he’s received. Syra Bowden, the executive director at the Sanctuary said they always give their orphaned foals a giant cuddly toy as a companion as it provides comfort.
