Sometimes when you are out riding you find one of those perfect places. Where the light is perfect and you just feel lucky to have found it.
I’d been to this field before — it’s in one of our hunt territories. But today I came across it from a different direction and it unfolded in front of me like a painting. The grasses shimmered in the breeze.
Zelda was full of beans and wanted to buck and gallop in the field. She’ll get that chance; we will be hunting there next week. And I think it will be my new favorite galloping place. It’s about a 20 minute hack from where my horses live.
