Right before the bridge that leads to the trail system there are Elephant Ears. The huge fan shaped plants grow at an amazing rate. This year I remembered to take photos as I rode out, starting when they were very tiny shoots and ending just last week when they are fully formed.
They grow so quickly that Freedom always spooks at them until he gets used to their size.
We have Kudzu that does the same thing on our levee. The only difference is my boy Jackson thinks they are tasty.
