US Equestrian is featuring Wednesday core strengthening workouts on their Instagram Channel to help riders stay fit during lock down. The workouts are sponsored by Landrover and are conducted by champion vaulters Mari Inouye and Ali Divita. Today’s video featured an upper body workout and yoga.

I, for one, am grateful for all the free exercise programs that are springing up on social media. Of course, I need to take the next step and start doing them.
How are you staying fit during shelter-at-home? I’m walking five or six days a week, weather permitting and a healthy distance from other people. I’m still riding but as I mentioned in an earlier post, I’m keeping things very low key. Mostly, I’m just grateful that I can visit my horses and feed Zelda treats. She’s starting to look at me like I’m a Pez dispenser.
I’ve been tuning into Yoga With Adrienne (who I hear has a Equestrian Yoga session haven’t been to yet). Free on YouTube.
Thank you, Andrea — will check it out. I need to start doing more of these workouts! Have been walking a lot on the trails to get out of the house. Luckily not many people on them.
If you ever want to go on a social safe walk, let me know, I try to go as often as possible. Behind the house here the trails aren’t too trod on.
