I should be hunting tomorrow but this morning it looks like Freedom has another abscess brewing. I’ve soaked it and slapped on epsom salt poultice and a heat pad. Maybe a miracle will happen and he’ll be totally fine tomorrow. It’s been one of those seasons where it’s always something!
Abscesses can be so frustrating but it amazes me at how a horse can act like they have a ‘broken leg’ and then when it bursts out, it magically improves so much!
